- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The vision the make a better economic regional has made ASEAN to form ASEAN Economic Community. In which, the flow of goods, services, investment, capital, and skilled labor are expected to be more frequents and borderless between any member country of ASEAN. Kalimantan Timur which is lies in Indonesia are expected to be one of the biggest market of all the country member, were face with challenges and also an opportunity, to make the fullest use of a borderless market created by AEC. Thus, this studies aims to understand the strategic plan of Kalimantan Timur in order to make the fullest use of AEC and to overcome the challenge. Results from these studies showed that the efforts that have been made by Kalimantan Timur governments are efficient and maximum. Various variable of improvement has been showed due to government policy.
