  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): In the implementation of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) at the end of 2015, ASEAN member countries agreed to harmonized vehicle emission standards in their countries with regulations in AEC through the ASEAN MRA program. The regulation related to vehicle emission standards in the automotive field requires to all of ASEAN member countries, including Indonesia to adopt minimum vehicle standards level at the Euro 4. Uses a descriptive method which data are taken of books, journals, trusted websites and relevant sources, this study aimed at explain the efforts to increase Indonesia’s vehicle emission standards related to automotive market within AEC framework. To analyze the case study, the Author uses the Competitive Advantages Theory by Michael E. Porter. In recapitulation, the research shows that the government of Indonesia has made some efforts to improve the standards of emission vehicle, through: (i) Upgrading; (ii) Adjusment; (iii) Exploration of natural resources; (iv) conduct an international cooperation.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Crimea is a city in Ukraine which is the center of pro-Russian sentiment in the country. The region is on the Black Sea Peninsula and has around 2.4 million people, mostly from Russian and Russian-speaking. The purpose of this reaseacrh is to explain the reason Russia annexed Crimea in 2014. The research method usesexplanative research type with data sources obtained from books, journals, websites and news valid. In this research the author uses concept of National Interest andAnnexation (perspective of international law). The results of this study indicate that the annexation by Russia to the Crimea is to achieve its national interests, some of Russia’s national interests, among others, the interests of protecting territorial integrity, cultural interests, military interests, and economic interests.However, the annexation that Russia has done got criticism from Ukraine and the international world, the United Nation, the European Union, and the United Stated.

The results of this study shows that the main reason Alibaba Group acquired Lazada Group SA is to increase its profitability in Southeast Asia EC market. افتتاح اليورو 2024 However, there are series of considerations behind this acquisition, which include: (i) owning intellectual property rights, ie ownership the brand name of lazada and use it as platfotm to expand in Southeast Asia; (ii) exploiting the experience curve, ie utilizing the experience of Lazada such as knowledge of market preferences, obstacles, and consumer behavior in the region; and (iii) achieving economies of scale or scope, ie Alibaba Group’s efforts to increase its profit by reducing the average cost per sale and lowering the price per product sold due to the breadth of the company’s business operations.

The research method uses descriptive research type with data sources obtained from books, journals, websites and news valid. In this research the author uses the concept of Balance of Power. The results of this research indicate that India shows its reactions towards China’s Peaceful Development by joining defense cooperation with a stronger state, United States. The defense cooperation is manifested by increasing and modernizing India’s Militar forces and joint military training between India. Japan and Unites States. By increasing and modernizing military forces, India succeeded in strengthening its domestic defense by increasing the annual military budget to modernize its army, naval and airforce military. Furthermore, on 2017 India, US and Japan organized joint military training on Bay of Bengal, part of Indian Ocean. The three countries aggreed to strengthen security in Indian Ocean from China’s agressive action by elaborating some cooperations in several sectors with the countries around Indian Ocean, they are Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
