• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This article explains the reason for the policy of placing the US anti-missile system in South Korea. This research method used is explanative qualitative. The data analysis used is secondary data. The results shows, the US reasons for placing the THAAD anti-missile system in South Korea was driven by two factors: Security instability that occurred in East Asia then made the US want to maintain regional security, especially to build a pattern of amity by maintaining South Korea’s national security is an alliance country and makes a joint security system to protect the East Asia region from North Korean missiles. Another reason is indirectly as a espionage program by the US to explore or track information systems of China and North Korean defense equipment. There are opposition from countries in the region such as China, which strongly oppose the THAAD anti-missile system that is stationed in South Korea.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): During Vladimir Putin’s leadership, the Central Asian region became a top priority in Russia’s foreign policy. The reason of Putin for prioritizing Central Asia in his foreign policy is the strategic location of the region, close to historical and possessing great natural resources in the region. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of Politics and Security of Russia in the Central Asia region. Research method is descriptive with secondary data and the theory is Regional Security Complex and the concept is Sphere of Influence. Central Asia is increasing in various fields of politics, economy and energy, and security. The many problems that exist in the region, such as economic problems, ethnic conflict, separatism, terrorism and drugs make Russia take action to assist in solving these problems by establishing cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally such as Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Custom Union, Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The result shows that Russia’s Political and Security Role in the Central Asian Region is very influential. In this regard, Russia’s political and security role in the region is to achieve Russia’s national interests in instilling and expanding its influence and proving Russia as a superpower, especially in the region of central Asia and the world. In addition, as a leader in the Russian region also acts as a regional stabilizer against internal and external threats.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Botswana Government’s discrimination against Bushmen’s tribe has been going a long time but then the dicrimination increased because government discovery a diamond deposits on Bushmen’s land called Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR). The discovery of diamonds then made the Government change their policies towards the Bushmen which is harm and be bad for Bushmen. After the policy changed, it encourage actors like Survival International to help the Bushmen solving their problems. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to find out the efforts of Survival International as an organization in protecting the Bushmen in Botswana in 2002-2017 using Campaign theory and International Advocacy of Non-Govermental Organization (IANGO) theory. فريق اليوفنتوس Subjects in the study were the indigenous people or peoples who came from South Africa which is Bushmen, supported by using descriptive research type. • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research aims to explain some of New Zealand’s reasons to support AMIZ/AMIS policy in 2004-2005. The research method uses explanatory research type with data sources obtained from books, journals, websites and news valid. In this research the author uses the concept of Foreign Policy, Regional Security and Bandwagoning Strategy.The results of this research indicate that several factors influencing New Zealand’s foreign policy to support AMIS policy are caused by internal factors and external factors. New Zealand’s internal factors are based on the needs to protect New Zealand’s national interests, so that New Zealand has amity relations with Australia, the amity in defense and security such as ANZAC, ANZUS, SEATO, FPDA, INTERFET and RAMSI. As for amity in economic, such as Closer Economic Relations (CER). New Zealand’s external factors are based on the impacts of AMIS policy that violate the boundaries of New Zealand maritime jurisdiction, so New Zealand strives to implement a bandwagoning strategy with a proximate power approach to create a sphere of influence for New Zealand in counteracting external threats from Australia and New Zealand’s marine zone.

• Judul artikel eJournal: Alasan Pemerintah Indonesia Meratifikasi Paris Climate Agreement Tahun 2016

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The issue of climate change recently becomes a central issue in politics and global discourse. Various efforts have been made in order to overcome the impact of climate change, one of them is the ratification of Paris Climate Agreement by nations around the world including Indonesia. This research aims to analyse the reasons of Indonesian government behind the ratification of Paris Climate Agreement as a new legal instrument made after Kyoto Protocol in order to reduce global gas emissions. This thesis used an explanative research method with secondary data. Qualitative analysis is used to analyse the data. The Foreign Policy Theory and Decision Making Theory are used to answer the reasons behind the ratification of Paris Climate Agreement by Indonesian government in 2016. The analysis figured out that there are two reasons behind the ratification: the internal and external factors. From internal point of view, the reason behind the ratification comes from the needs of economic support from developed countries, the pressure of NGOs and indigenous people of Indonesia, the bureaucracy and constitutional law of Indonesia in respond to climate change issues. From external point of view is a manifestation of global compliance, international pressure, and to improve the existence and positive image of Indonesia in international forum. Through this involvement, Indonesia had its rights to determine the future plans of Paris Agreement and also to open the chance of cooperation with other countries to develop the sustainable green economics.
